Wonderful! I feel like I've taken a nice mini vacation looking at these.

Yay!

I mostly feel kind of exhausted looking at them, but I imagine that will pass. :D

Beautiful photo of Longs Peak. (I think. My brother-in-law climbed it a few years back - I should know it, but this is a different angle.)

I think you're right -- it was the most prominent peak in the section we visited. I don't know for certain though.

I've heard Longs is a tough climb; congrats to your brother-in-law!

Coming super-late -- yeah, that's Longs Peak from the north.

They really are.

While we were eating at a restaurant right next to them, the smaller of the two ships sailed off into the bay. Apparently they both are seaworthy, and maintained by volunteers. Wouldn't that be a cool hobby to have?

I love the photos! Nicely done travelogue without the words. Can't wait to see where you decide to roost next (though after meeting you and your husband I do rather hope that my own home town is in the running. I'd be rather happy to call you friends and neighbors.)

Nice photos! That looks like quite an odyssey -- I'd always thought that Americans only did that sort of thing in other people's countries/continents.

Thanks! And yeah, I've never seen Americans do this kind of thing here. It's too expensive, I think, given the distances involved. (Thanks to a slow travel season, I got a deal on the airfare.)
